Tri Jr-Sr High School

This past Friday, Tri gave their fans exactly what they wanted at their home opener. Tri could not be stopped Friday as they hosted the Union City Indians, winning 67-0. Tri’s win was the result of many impressive offensive performances. One of the most remarkable being Cooper Engle, who rushed for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and 1 score. Those 77 yards set a new season high for Engle. Eli Murphy was another key rusher, rushing for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tri was unstoppable on the field and finished with 439 rushing yards. Masyn Chalfant also played a huge role in Tri’s win Friday, therefore he was given Courier Times Player of the Week. Tri’s next game will be hosted at home, Saturday, at 6:00 p.m. against Riverton Parke.
